📢 We’re hiring for a part-time Campaign Coordinator! Apply by Oct 22.
Over the past few years, in conjunction with CCED, LACCLT has organized and developed relationships with 729 Yale residents. We are fundraising to acquire the property to keep 729 Yale permanently affordable, democratically governed and community-owned.
✊ LACCLT is undertaking this campaign not only to ensure the tenants can remain and thrive at 729 Yale Street, but also to offer an important housing alternative to today’s predatory real estate industry. Our community needs long-term solutions that take housing out of the speculative market and put it into community hands.
📣 We’re seeking a part-time hybrid Campaign Project Coordinator to lead coordination for our efforts to acquire 729 Yale Street. This role will be at the center of an ambitious grassroots campaign to secure permanently affordable, community-owned housing in the heart of Chinatown. The Campaign Coordinator will keep the moving parts of the campaign on track, anticipate challenges, and help the team problem-solve and strategize to successfully execute the campaign.
👉 See the full job description here, and share this exciting opportunity with anyone who might be a good fit! Apply by Oct 22 by sending a resume and cover letter (and any questions) to lachinatownclt@gmail.com.
