The LA Chinatown CLT has completed its 2025-2028 Strategic Plan, a community driven roadmap that will guide our organizational priorities and direction over the next few years. A CLT is a commitment to long-term community control over land and housing. This plan will help:
Set priorities based on community needs
Use our resources wisely so we can grow and sustain our impact
Stay accountable to the people we serve
Thank you to everyone who participated in our stakeholder events held between February 2025 and September 2025! Your insights helped shaped a shared vision for the future of housing and community stability in Chinatown.
As part of our strategic planning process, we also developed the Chinatown Current State Assessment, which is a snapshot of Chinatown today based on stories, data, and insights from community members.
This assessment helps us better understand the challenges residents and small businesses are facing, as well as the assets we can build upon. It reflects what we’ve heard through interviews, surveys, and our first town hall, and it lays the foundation for the next phase of the CLT’s work to re-define our shared vision, mission, values, and priorities.
